The Omar Shrine Convention Center is located at 176 Patriots Point Road, one quarter of a mile east of the intersection of Coleman Blvd. and Patriots Point Road in Mt. Pleasant South Carolina. We are only ten minutes away from the fabled downtown Charleston historic shopping district. The beaches. NCAA Sports. Riverboat and Carriage ride tours. Historic plantations. Riverdogs baseball. Outstanding restaurants. Only moments away are nine quality hotels, the USS Yorktown Naval and Medal of Honor Museum, and the Patriots Point Golf and Tourism Center.

   With over 16,000 Square Feet of exhibit and floor space, we can easily accommodate a crowd of 1,000 people or up to 850 for a plated meal. Room arrangement flexibility and the versatility of our drapery partitioning grant us the ability to create an intimate atmosphere to serve smaller groups as well.

   Our 480 Square Foot raised stage is accompanied by dual rear-of-stage dressing rooms and is ideal for bands, beauty shows, lectures, presentations, performers, modeling and much more.

   Audio Visual Package The Omar Shrine Convention Center offers a full spectrum audio visual package. With three 10’ by 12’ drop down projection screens, digital projectors and 12,000 watts of power, we can provide the outlet for your presentation or entertainment needs.
 

   Omar makes a/v services simple for our customers. We can provide wireless microphones and wireless internet access. Our remote camera can play your event live on the screens. We can also run Powerpoint presentations, play DVD’s, CD’s, Cable television and more.

   Business and medical professionals sometimes choose to display their charts and strategies on two screens while our remote camera shows their speaker at the podium on the third screen. Our remote-access technology allows stage or floor-based speakers to advance their presentations whenever they desire. If an internet site-based demonstration is needed, it’s no problem. Combining our perpetually active wireless internet access with a simple and quick cable hook-up and you’re ready!

   Auction-oriented customers particularly love our system. As the auctioneer calls out, our camera zooms in to the item of attention. Even guests in the furthest reaches of the auditorium can enjoy the same view as those close to the action. We can also pan to the bidder and show crowd reaction on the screens. However creative a presentation you may desire, we can accommodate it.

   IN HOUSE CATERING AND BARTENDING The Omar Shrine offers in-house catering and bartending through our tenant restaurant, The Point Bar and Grill. A large variety of popular meals, side dishes, and drinks are available at very reasonable prices.
